  • No, you don’t need to have a referral from your GP to make an appointment.

  • It’s understandable that things come up and appointments sometimes need to be moved around.

If 24 hours’ notice is not given, or you do not show for your appointment, you will be charged for the appointment.

The cancellation fee is 100% of the appointment fee for less than 24 hours notice

50% of the fee for less than 48 hours notice.

  • The first session is an opportunity to gain an understanding of the support you require. I will ask questions about your background and current circumstances including work, family and relationships, physical and mental health. We discuss your reasons for coming to counselling and your goals for future sessions. Seeing a counsellor is a two-way conversation and you can feel free to ask questions too.

  • The Rock Lily is a native Australian orchid. As the name suggests, it grows courageously on top of rocks, producing stunning sprays of flowers. Rock lily’s provide a visual reminder of how it is possible to grow and flourish in unexpected places, even during hard and pressured times in our lives.

Sometimes good things in life are hard too. Things that are worthwhile and meaningful to us or changes we want to make, aren’t always easy to achieve. During hard times, we may be able to lean on the strength of others and receive comfort from family and friends, or we might try to work things out on our own. Sometimes talking to someone in a confidential setting, without having to worry what others might think can be helpful.
